November Reading

What will you read in the cold November rain?

Novembr is my birthday month as well as my introspective month--a sort-of New Year where we do a lot of reflection and goal-setting in my family. I'm hoping that pulling back and making more time for quiet in our lives will give me some time to read as well! I already have two books here from the library waiting for my birthday next week so I can get my reading on. Both are sequels of books I liked very much, Roar by Cora Carmack and Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart. Neither is terribly long, which I fully appreciate, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to get into them both next week.

I'd also like to read Stephen King's The Institute, Erin Morgenstern's The Starless Sea and Holly Black's Folk of Air series this month, especially since the latter will have its final book published. I fell in love with the first chapter and promptly quit years ago when I knew I'd forget if I didn't read the entire series back to back! That's just how my tired brain works these days.

Which books are you anticipating most this month? Share them in the chat!
