This 1998 parody is the work of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the dynamic team also responsible for the animated 2009 Sony flick Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs(and yes, Virginia, there will be a sequel). It was intended as an educational short, one of a series, about action figures based on notables from history; it never aired. The action figures, however, are quite genuine. I've seen John Milton, Jane Austen, and Oscar Wilde posable figures.
