President Bush Memoir? Not Anytime Soon
President George W. wants to write a memoir, but according to this article from the Huffington Post, no one is really interested in publishing it. And why would they, with approval ratings in the 20s he's not exactly good for business. Especially with the economy being what it is, buying books is a luxury. Besides, there are already so many books written about him by others that one written by him seems unnecessary. Here's a few titles worth checking out:
Bushworld: Enter At Your Own Risk by Maureen Dowd
The Bush Betrayal by James Bovard
The Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception by David Corn
Warrior King: The Case for Impeaching George Bush by John Bonifaz
Cruel and Unusual: Bush/ Cheney's New World Order by Mark Crispin Miller
Bush On The Couch: Inside the Mind of a President by Dr. Justin A. Frank

This is one of those recipes
This is one of those recipes that needs to simmer. There's the hard-edged Rumsfeld that needs to mellow down like too many garlic cloves. There's the Condi Rice nice but a little starchy at this point. She may need to shed her hard outer layers, revealing the cultured pianist that lies at her core. Then there's the once dominant but now transcendant herb that could have overpowered the recipe like so much rosemary had he not gathered his essence and developed a fragrant lean, Colin Powell. One has to grudgingly add the alum, the spice that cannot seem to remain in the shadows, that generally has the effect of ipecac, the vomit elixir., Dick Cheney wears this addition well, as only he can. So shoot me.
However these ingredients eventually combine to form a historic dish, it will be one that is notable for its tendency towards indigestion. Plop-Plop-fizz-fizz.
Very good post, thanks a lot.
